As an Internal Sales Engineer, you will support the sales process by providing technical expertise and product knowledge. This role will be responsible for preparing quotations, managing sales enquiries and supporting external / area sales roles.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide first line of technical support for internal staff, and existing and new customers
- Identify potential to up-sell our products and service offerings
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer purchase orders, sales orders and quotation onto ERP/MRP system
- Proactive management of workload to ensure deadlines are met
- Respond to progressing requests from customers and Area Sales Managers
- Work with internal departments to arrange deliveries and deployments as required by customers
- Work with suppliers/supply chain manager to ensure on time delivery in line with our requirements
- Work to achieve set KPI’s
- Act as final check point of works pack prior to release into the system
