We are looking for someone to join our friendly team and help us continue to deliver a high standard of service as the business grows.

  • MARS Kings Lynn
  • Norfolk Farm Produce

About the Role

Klimatech is looking for an experienced and motivated Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team. The role involves PPM, servicing and fault-finding across refrigeration, AC, water chillers and process equipment. You will travel to customer sites and participate in the call-out rota. Sites are mainly across Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk, with occasional travel further afield when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out PPM on commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment.
  • Carry out PPM on air conditioning equipment.
  • Carry out PPM on water chillers.
  • Carry out PPM on process equipment.
  • Attend service and breakdown calls for refrigeration equipment.
  • Attend service and breakdown calls for air conditioning equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and professionally.
  • Complete service reports and paperwork.
  • Maintain a professional approach with customers.
  • Participate in call-out cover when required.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Experience in refrigeration and air conditioning engineering.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, reliable and organised.
  • Friendly and professional approach.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to travel and work away when required.
  • Relevant qualifications and F-Gas certification preferred.

Benefits

  • 22 days' annual leave, excluding Bank Holidays.
  • Private medical cover after the first year, including optical cover, up to £600 per year.
  • 3% employer pension contribution in line with government guidelines.
  • Working-away allowance: typically £30 per day for food + £20 per day retainer.
  • Hotel accommodation is paid for by the company when working away.
  • Company van, phone and laptop.
  • Full uniform and PPE provided.
  • Refrigeration tools provided, with additional tools available if required.
