This role leads strategic client relationships and delivery excellence across healthcare and life sciences accounts. The role partners closely with Strategy, Creative, Medical Strategy, Project Management, and Si-Reg teams to align client objectives with high-quality programme delivery.
This person provides day-to-day leadership across client engagements while identifying opportunities to strengthen partnerships, deliver commercial value, and ensure work is executed with clarity, accountability, and regulatory awareness.
What You'll Do
- Lead day-to-day senior client relationships, building trusted partnerships and ensuring programmes are delivered against client objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
- Manage one or more healthcare or pharmaceutical accounts, overseeing financial forecasting, scope management, resource planning, and delivery in partnership with Project Management.
- Partner with Strategy, Creative, Medical Strategy, Project Management, and Si-Reg teams to deliver integrated, compliant healthcare communications that meet client and business objectives.
- Support the growth and development of Client Services team members through coaching, feedback, and leadership across day-to-day account delivery.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships by contributing to account planning, programme recommendations, and scope development.
Qualifications Required
- 8+ years of client service experience within advertising, healthcare communications, pharmaceutical marketing, or agency environments, including ownership of senior client relationships.
- 3+ years of pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or medical communications experience with demonstrated understanding of regulated healthcare communications.
- Experience managing complex client accounts, including financial forecasting, budgeting, resource planning, and scope management across multiple workstreams.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across Strategy, Creative, Medical Strategy, Project Management, and Si-Reg to deliver integrated client programmes.
- Demonstrated experience coaching or mentoring Client Services team members while supporting account performance and delivery excellence.
- Experience supporting regional or global healthcare accounts across multiple brands or therapeutic areas.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing regulations, including experience working with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory review processes.
- Experience contributing to organic account growth, proposal development, and new business opportunities.
- Experience creating, reviewing, or negotiating scopes of work in partnership with Project Management or Finance teams.
