This freelance Mid‑Weight Art Director role supports the development and delivery of creative work across healthcare and life sciences clients. The role contributes to concept development, execution, and refinement of creative outputs across multiple channels. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, this role ensures ideas are translated into high‑quality, on‑brand deliverables. The position requires independent ownership of projects and strong collaboration with senior creative leadership.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead art direction and design execution across web, print, and broadcast deliverables using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Collaborate with a creative partner, including a Copywriter, to develop integrated campaign concepts and deliverables.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, balancing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations across teams.
- Present creative work in internal reviews and client presentations, clearly articulating rationale and strategic alignment.
- Collaborate with Creative Directors and senior stakeholders to align on vision, provide feedback, and refine outputs.
Qualifications Required:
- Experience working in an advertising agency environment with healthcare or pharmaceutical clients, demonstrated through portfolio work and project examples.
- Proven experience delivering art direction across digital, print, and broadcast media with clear, high‑quality outputs.
- Hands‑on experience using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma to produce campaign‑ready assets.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines and delivering work to agreed timelines.
- Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams including copywriters, developers, and UX/UI designers on integrated deliverables.
