Responsibilities
- Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
- Diagnosing electrical issues using specialised tools and equipment, then implementing effective solutions.
- Reading and interpreting technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to carry out installations or repairs accurately.
- Conducting routine inspections to identify potential hazards or faults within electrical systems.
- Using hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety legislation and company policies.
- Documenting work activities accurately for record-keeping and future reference.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters.
- Experience with power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations relevant to the industry.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints effectively.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3) are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
