We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Services Manager to join our team. This is a key leadership role and the post-holder will oversee the delivery of high-quality clinical services including community imaging services for NHS contracts and private healthcare services, ensuring excellence in patient care and compliance with regulatory standards. The role would suit an experienced Business/Practice Manager or Clinical Services Manager with previous experience in a healthcare organisation.
The postholder will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of services whilst supporting service development, improving patient access and driving sustainable growth across both our NHS and private healthcare services. You will lead and support a multidisciplinary team, driving innovation and continuous improvement in community healthcare. We are particularly interested in applicants who have strong leadership and people management skills and can demonstrate experience in improving service delivery, developing new healthcare services, or supporting business growth within a clinical environment.

The postholder is responsible for the operational management, quality assurance, governance and day‑to‑day delivery of clinical services across the NHS and private healthcare services provided. The role requires strong leadership and evidence of service‑improvement capability, regulatory compliance oversight and close collaboration with clinical and non‑clinical personnel.
Operational Management- Oversee the daily operational delivery of our healthcare services.
- Ensure services are delivered safely, effectively, and in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
- Monitor clinic utilisation, patient flow, capacity and operational performance.
- Support the expansion and development of new clinical services and pathways.
- Coordinate clinical rotas and staffing requirements.
- Ensure effective management of clinical environments, equipment and facilities.
- Support and promote a strong culture of clinical governance, quality improvement and patient safety.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards, NHS contractual requirements, information governance standards, infection control, safeguarding procedures.
- Lead on incident reporting, investigations, audits and action plans.
- Monitor quality indicators, patient outcomes, complaints, compliments and feedback.
- Support implementation of clinical policies, SOPS and risk management processes.
- Ensure high standards of patient care and customer service for all patients, NHS and private.
- Manage patient concerns and complaints professionally and effectively.
- Promote equitable, accessible and patient‑centered services.
- Support continuous improvement in patient satisfaction and experience.
- Provide leadership and operational support.
- Line‑manage designated staff where appropriate.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, appraisals and performance management processes.
- Foster a positive, collaborative and accountable working culture.
- Promote staff wellbeing, engagement and continuous professional development.
- Identify opportunities for service improvement, innovation and efficiency.
- Support implementation of new technologies, pathways and service models.

- Build effective relationships with NHS Commissioners, GP Practices, Consultants and Clinicians, External Providers, Insurance Companies, Regulatory Bodies, Patients and Service Users.
- Represent the organisation professionally in meetings and partnerships.
- Ensure accurate clinical and operational reporting.
- Support data quality, confidentiality and GDPR compliance.
- Use performance data to drive operational improvements and decision making.
- Work within organisational policies and professional standards.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Participate in mandatory training and professional development.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role.
- Experience managing healthcare services in NHS, private healthcare or community healthcare setting.
- Experience overseeing operational delivery of clinical services.
- Experience in clinical governance, quality assurance and risk management.
- Experience handling complaints, incidents and service improvement initiatives.
- Experience working with healthcare standards and compliance standards.
