The Company
At kleene.ai, we’re accelerating how businesses become data-driven. We believe every company—regardless of size—should be able to easily harness, analyze, and act on their data. Our platform simplifies data ingestion, modeling, and reporting so our customers can spend less time wrestling with pipelines and more time delivering insights. Once our customers have a strong data foundation in place, we help them go even further—deploying AI models that unlock advanced analytics, automate decision-making, and surface deeper, predictive insights. This enables teams to move beyond understanding what has happened, to confidently shaping what comes next.
We are looking for ambitious individuals to join our mission of transforming the world of business intelligence.
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Analyst who is passionate about designing robust data models in modern data warehouses and creating actionable dashboards in BI tools like Sigma, ThoughtSpot, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. You’ll be a core part of our Data team—working with our other consultants to translate business requirements into efficient SQL transformations and insightful visualisations. You should be comfortable managing multiple client projects at once, working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, and delivering best-practice data solutions in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Data Modelling & Warehouse Development: Design, build, and maintain data models (in predominantly Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery etc.) using SQL best practices. Implement scalable and efficient data pipelines that adhere to Kimball or star schema methodologies. Understand the use of the AI models to deliver the most value for our clients.
- Reporting & BI: Develop interactive reports and dashboards in Sigma (and possibly other BI tools like ThoughtSpot, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker). Define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to drive data-driven decision-making for our clients.
- Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Management: Work directly with clients to understand their business objectives, translating those into clear technical requirements and data models. Communicate complex data concepts in an approachable way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaboration & Project Management: Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring on-time delivery and high-quality output. Partner with Data Engineers, Senior Analysts, Data Scientists, and Customer Success to create holistic, end-to-end data solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to and refine internal best practices for SQL coding, data modelling, and BI report design. Stay updated on the latest trends in data analytics, AI modelling, warehousing, and visualisation to continually push our product forward.
About You
- SQL Mastery: You have extensive, hands-on experience writing SQL for data transformation, analysis, and performance optimisation.
- BI & Dashboard Expertise: Proven track record developing compelling dashboards and reports in any BI tool.
- Data Warehousing Knowledge: Familiarity with data warehouse concepts (e.g., denormalisation, star schemas, fact and dimension design, ETL/ELT processes).
- Business-Focused: You enjoy digging into business problems, understanding key objectives, and translating them into data-driven insights.
- Fast & Efficient: You’re a self-starter who’s comfortable juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Team Player: You communicate well with both technical and non-technical teams, and thrive in a collaborative setting.
- Ambitious & Driven: You have a strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a desire to push boundaries and learn quickly.
- Aligned with our company values: Trust, Get it done, Customer centric, Curious.
