We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Warehouse / Facilities / Fleet Administrator to join our team based in Ashford. This is a full-time, on-site role supporting the smooth day-to-day running of warehouse operations, fleet administration, and facilities support. This is a varied and hands-on position combining administration with light warehouse duties, requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out light warehouse duties, including processing and preparing parcels for dispatch to engineers
- Assist with warehouse checks and stock control
- Support spreadsheet updates for project deliveries
- Hand out PPE to engineers and maintain issue records
- Place orders for stock items and branded work clothing
- Liaise with engineers regarding quarterly van checks
- Update fleet databases and maintain accurate vehicle records
- Support vehicle handovers (new and off-hire vehicles)
- Provide administrative support for vehicle incident reporting
- Assist with scheduling servicing, inspections and compliance checks
- Provide general facilities support when required
- Assist with contractor coordination and site administration
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous administrative experience (warehouse, fleet or facilities preferred but not essential)
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office; Excel preferred)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
- Good communication skills and a team-focused approach
- Practical and hands-on attitude
Essential: Willingness and ability to obtain a forklift certificate during the probation period (training will be provided if required)
