This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Data Engineer to join a growing team and gain valuable experience across multiple domains. The Senior Data Engineer is a generalist, with skills across software, cloud and data engineering. Candidates from each background are encouraged to apply.
Senior Engineer skills and competencies:
- Experience of working with at least one of the following cloud platforms: Azure/GCP/Amazon AWS
- Experience of writing at least moderately advanced SQL using one of the following: SQL Server/MySQL/Postgres
- Experience in at least one of the following languages: C#/Java/Python/Scala
- Experience with Databricks / Spark
- Contributed to the build and deployment of a production level system
- Confident in building Microservices and APIs
- Regularly builds CI/CD pipelines
- Uses automated unit testing tools
- Passionate about profiling and integration of new technologies
- Has aspirations to lead the development process
