Our client is an independent energy and utilities intelligence business, soon to be launching a new Norfolk operation in early 2027.
Every week businesses close as a result of increasing prices.
Our client helps organisations stop overpaying for energy and utilities, typically finding savings of 30 to 40%. Their team of specialists uses AI-driven technology analyse data and find energy strategies and tariffs.
For a farm, a hotel or a care home, every pound saved can protect jobs and keep a business open.
The role
This is a entry-level role suitable for graduates, early-career professionals or those interested in pivoting into a new career path.
No two weeks look the same. You will visit different client sites to carry out a forensic inspection, recording energy-consuming asset and noting the details others miss, such as equipment left running overnight.
Your findings are the foundation of everything the business delivers. Its analysts use them to identify overpayments and calculate savings, so your eye for detail turns directly into money back for business owners.
You will:
- visit client premises independently across Norfolk around three days a week
- identify and record energy sources on site, from lighting, heating and refrigeration to gas usage and manufacturing equipment
- record audit data accurately in the business’s proprietary audit software
- follow a consistent audit process so that every site is assessed to the same standard
- act as a professional representative of the business with owners and their staff
About you
You are observant, methodical and personable, and you enjoy getting the detail right. You will have:
- a full, clean UK driving licence
- at least one year of work experience with clear evidence of a strong work ethic
- a thorough, process-driven approach and strong observational skills
- the confidence to speak with clients and represent a business on site
- the ability to work independently and manage your own time while travelling
A degree in mathematics, statistics or a science is preferred, but applications from all backgrounds are welcome. An interest in energy and sustainability, or experience in an inspection, survey or compliance role, would be an advantage.
