The Opportunity
No two days are quite the same.
Working closely with the Laboratory Manager and wider scientific team, you'll help keep the laboratories fully stocked, organised and operational, allowing researchers to focus on their science.
This is a varied, hands-on position that would suit someone who enjoys supporting others, takes pride in being organised and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing laboratory reagents and materials
- Managing laboratory stock and consumables
- Ordering, receiving and booking in deliveries
- Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing supplies
- Supporting day-to-day laboratory organisation
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Coordinating equipment servicing and maintenance
- Assisting with laboratory housekeeping and general operations
- Supporting the movement of laboratory materials and equipment
- Working closely with scientists to ensure the laboratories run efficiently
