Their products are used by healthcare laboratories to improve efficiency, accelerate diagnosis and ultimately enhance patient outcomes.
As the business continues to grow, they are looking to appoint a Production Technician to join their manufacturing team. The Opportunity
Working within a modern manufacturing facility, you'll be responsible for producing diagnostic products to the highest quality standards, following established manufacturing processes and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). This role would suit someone who enjoys structured, process-driven work, takes pride in producing high-quality products and is looking to develop their career within manufacturing rather than research. No two days are exactly the same, but quality, teamwork and attention to detail are at the heart of everything you do.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manufacture diagnostic products in accordance with approved procedures and production schedules
- Prepare buffers and reagent solutions following defined formulations
- Carry out filtration, filling and manufacturing activities within cleanroom environments
- Follow GMP, SOPs and Good Documentation Practice (GDP)
- Complete manufacturing documentation accurately and to a high standard
- Maintain awareness of COSHH requirements and Health & Safety procedures
- Support routine equipment maintenance and housekeeping activities
- Ensure production materials and consumables are available to support manufacturing schedules
- Contribute ideas to improve manufacturing processes and efficiencies
- Support updates to manufacturing procedures and documentation where appropriate
