Please note this is a hybrid role that requires 3 days/week in our Boston office. Fully remote candidates will not be considered at this time.
As a Product Manager for the International SMS team, you’ll be responsible for expanding Klaviyo SMS and RCS offerings internationally. With a strong international SMS offering and newly launched RCS product, this Product Manager will lead Klaviyo in continuing to grow internationally. You’ll work closely with your own engineering team, design, other PMs on related teams and other stakeholders to influence our expansion plans and to ensure we successfully launch in each country including phone number management, compliance needs and go-to‑market considerations. You will also monitor changes in these countries as they happen to ensure we are on top of how we need to adapt to changing regulations and practices.
SMS is a fast‑growing part of Klaviyo’s business and this is an opportunity to be a critical part of that growth. The PM for this role will own and define the strategy and roadmap for this product area to help shape the future of this work. You’ll report to the Group Product Manager, Mobile Platform.
How You’ll Make a Difference
- Drive strategy for a large and complex product area, defining success and prioritizing the most significant opportunities in line with company goals.
- Adapt strategy as you learn, knowing when to start, scale, or stop investments.
- Partner with engineering, design, and analytics to set vision, build a roadmap, and deliver against goals while clearing blockers and strengthening team health.
- Lead with technical proficiency—deeply understanding how things work to guide complex initiatives and improve developer and customer experience.
- Accelerate velocity in zero‑to‑one product areas by fostering rapid experimentation, reducing ambiguity, and shortening cycle times.
- Build alignment across adjacent teams by identifying dependencies and creating shared strategies.
- Use customer insights, data, and market analysis to inform product decisions and shape broader organizational strategy.
- Spend a lot of time with customers to develop deep empathy and insights, which you’ll build into your product roadmap.
- Demonstrate leadership by pulling together people across functions, setting the pace, and inspiring the team—even amidst complexity at scale.
- Elevate product craft and intuition, balancing strategic thinking with a builder’s mindset to transform workflows with AI at the center.
Who you are
- 1‑3 years of product management experience in B2B and/or eCommerce.
- Strong technical intuition, customer empathy, and data‑informed decision‑making.
- You’ve already experimented with AI in work or personal projects, and you’re excited to dive in and learn fast. You’re hungry to responsibly explore new AI tools and workflows, finding ways to make your work smarter and more efficient.
