We're looking for a talented Senior Brand Designer to join our team on a 12 month fixed-term contract basis and play a pivotal role in supporting our EMEA Marketing and Global teams through high-performing creative.
How You'll Make a DifferenceYou’ll work closely as an extension of two teams:
- The EMEA Marketing team is small but mighty - a mix of content marketers, event professionals, partner marketers, and demand generation specialists who move fast and work both collaboratively and independently. You’ll play a key role in bringing Klaviyo's brand to life across Northern, Southern and Central Europe, balancing local market needs with global priorities to drive real impact.
- The Klaviyo Brand & Creative Team (AMER-based) who own and evolve our brand systems and express the Klaviyo brand across digital, events, and beyond. You’ll directly impact strategic goals including brand awareness, conversion, and event NPS.
You’ll be creating compelling visual concepts and designs across a wide range of formats including digital advertising, motion and video, event experiences, and print collateral. The ability to write copy in a pinch is a bonus.
Areas of Impact- Brand Design & Documentation: Contribute to cohesive, high-quality brand design solutions that support Klaviyo's recognition and growth goals across EMEA. Serve as a brand steward, ensuring all work aligns with our visual identity and elevates the brand. Design thoughtful, compelling assets that guide and enhance the customer journey. Design creative assets for campaigns across email, social, web, print, events, video, basic animation, and more. Produce final assets with accuracy and attention to detail, optimised for each channel and ready for handoff or launch. Maintain visual consistency across touchpoints while bringing a fresh, engaging perspective.
- Design Excellence & Governance: Demonstrate strong fundamentals in typography, colour, layout, and composition. Stay current on design and B2B marketing trends across key EMEA markets to bring fresh inspiration to the team. Optimise and iterate creative based on performance results. Take pride in the details and strive for design excellence in everything you create.
- Collaborate & Ideate: Work closely with AMER-based designers, writers, directors, and creators, as well as local agencies and marketers, to bring concepts to life. Support ideation and creative campaign development that connects with our audience and reflects our brand positioning. Participate in cross-functional projects, contributing visual ideas and executing with care. Celebrate cultural nuances in design and copy as you collaborate across EMEA sub-regions.
You're an exceptional Senior Designer with a sharp eye for detail and a genuine passion for problem-solving.
- 5+ years of experience in advertising agencies, design studios, and/or in-house creative teams.
- Online portfolio showcasing strong visual branding and campaign capabilities.
- Proficient in Figma (including Figma Make), Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace; experience with lightweight motion tools like Jitter or Canva.
- Experience designing within a brand system and consistently adhering to guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent practical experience.
Creative Problem-Solver: You approach design challenges with curiosity and strategy - finding smart solutions that balance brand, business, and customer needs.
Clear Communicator: You can confidently explain your design decisions, and you're always open to feedback. Comfortable working across time zones with a largely remote, globally distributed team.
Customer-Focused: You think about how design supports the customer journey and brand experience, with a solid understanding of different channels, audiences, and marketing goals.
Proactive & Reliable: You take ownership of your work from kickoff to delivery - high quality, on time, and aligned to the brief. You look for opportunities to contribute beyond what you've been assigned.
