Overview We are looking for a talented Director of Sales to lead our Commercial organization at Klaviyo.

This role reports to the VP of EMEA Sales and will oversee a team of Sales Managers and Commercial Account Executives across Dublin and London offices and the Northern, Southern, and Central sub‑regions.

Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing sales team, including hiring, training, operational rigor, and talent development.

Own the regional go‑to‑market strategy for Klaviyo’s Commercial segment across Europe, translating business objectives into clear priorities and operational plans.

Identify growth opportunities, optimise performance, and bring a founder’s mindset to problem‑solving.

Accurately forecast and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance, using data to make decisions and drive accountability.

Continuously improve pipeline management, sales processes, and team productivity, and evaluate and implement tools that help the team scale.

Partner closely with Marketing, Partnerships, Revenue Operations, Enablement, and Customer Success, sharing market insights and aligning cross‑functional teams.

Contribute to EMEA succession planning and help shape the broader Klaviyo Dublin community.

Provide strategic direction on the SMB segment within Southern and Central Europe, and collaborate across all functions in EMEA and the US.

Use data to inform strategic direction and communicate key trends to peers and stakeholders.

Put the customer first when shaping team strategies and ensuring high‑quality work and efficiency.

Qualifications Proven sales leader with a track record of building and developing high‑performing teams in fast‑growth Saa S or technology environments.

Experience leading sales teams across European markets, ideally within earlier‑stage or scale‑up companies.

Fluency in French or German.

Background in e‑commerce, marketing technology, or related industries.

Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Challenger, Sandler, or SPIN.

Resilient, adaptable, and capable of navigating ambiguity and driving change.

Builder mindset—energised by creating structure where none exists and improving evolving systems.

Data‑driven decision maker who uses numbers to tell stories and hold teams accountable.

Strong communicator with the ability to influence at all levels and bring people together around a shared vision.
