What You Will Do

As a Business Operations Manager within Partner Compliance, you will own Klarna’s Prohibited and Restricted Business Policy and define how partner risk is assessed across complex and sensitive categories. This position focuses on policy and strategy, shaping clear criteria that guide how partners are evaluated, onboarded, and governed. You will work across functions to translate complex risk landscapes into structured frameworks and well-reasoned recommendations, ensuring decisions are consistent and aligned with regulatory expectations. Acting as a key advisor and escalation point, you will support stakeholders with clear guidance, drive governance processes, and continuously improve how partner risk is managed in high‑stakes and ambiguous situations.

Who You Are

  • Experience in compliance policy, partner risk, or restricted‑segment governance within a regulated financial services environment
  • Comfortable forming and defending independent policy positions, including in ambiguous or complex situations
  • Strong ability to balance strategic thinking with operational precision, including writing policies that withstand scrutiny
  • Clear and structured communicator, able to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • High level of ownership and accountability, including proactively identifying and addressing gaps
  • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and make well‑reasoned decisions
