We have a requirement for Mechanical Fitters/Engineers and Electrical Fitters/Engineers to carry out machinery overhaul and refurbishment on various types of machinery and equipment from the printing, packaging and medical device industries.
Duties:
- Complete strip down of old machinery for refurbishment.
- Carrying out refurbishments in our facility and on customer sites in the UK and overseas.
- Removal of machinery and equipment from customer sites in the UK and overseas.
- Installation of new equipment and overhauled equipment into customer sites.
- Attending breakdowns, fault finding and repairing at customers' sites.
- Machinery installations and removals, which would require some work away in the UK and overseas for short periods.
Position would suit someone who is apprentice trained and has an experienced background in machinery assembly, machinery maintenance or machinery installation and who is local to the Dewsbury area.
Initial duration is around 3 months but for the right people will be ongoing.
