The Role:

A Meeting and Events Operative is responsible for delivering operations to ensure an excellent Guest and Member experience. You will support tasks outlined and assigned within the function sheets and assist with meeting departmental targets. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Working in all areas of Meeting and Events including Bar, Restaurant, and Room Service
  • Welcoming guests in a polite and friendly manner
  • Following cash handling procedures
  • Managing guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensuring cleanliness of work areas
  • Ensuring compliance with brand standards
  • Supporting departmental needs and the needs of the team
  • Complying with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation
  • Complying with local licensing laws
  • Being environmentally aware
  • Assisting other departments as necessary and maintaining good working relationships
