The Person:
- Proven experience as a Head, Executive Chef or Strong Senior Sous looking to make their mark.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of knowledge of culinary techniques and food trends.
- High hygiene standards, and having a Food Hygiene Certificate would be desirable.
The Role:
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficiency and high standards.
- Design and develop menus that exceed customers’ expectations and align with the hotel’s concepts.
- Recruit, train and support the kitchen staff including Sous Chefs, Chef De Parties and Kitchen Porters.
- Enforce strict hygiene and food safety standards.
- Manage department operations, including budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and waste management.
