This is an exciting opportunity for a creative Soft Furnishings Maker to design, create, and finish bespoke soft furnishings that meet the highest standards of quality and style. As a Soft Furnishings Maker, you’ll work closely with clients and colleagues, bringing attention to detail, precision, and passion to every project while contributing to the growth and success of our business.
Our ideal candidate will be happy working as part of a team, able to cope with time pressure, meticulous accuracy and have fast and efficient sewing machine experience. This candidate should be honest, reliable and a great timekeeper, essential qualities for a successful Soft Furnishings Maker.
Location: Ridgmont, Bedfordshire
Monday- Friday: 9am- 5pm Fully Office Based
Experience required:
- Skilled sewing machinist
- Confidence in making all types of machine & hand sewn curtains, roman blinds and cushions in different types of fabric
- Ability to confidently pattern match fabrics and join linings and fabrics
- Excellent attention to detail
- A positive mind set with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Measuring and cutting skills for fabrics
- Basic math ability to understand and adapt to worksheets
