Job Description / Preferred Qualifications

The Financial Analyst will maintain and improve financial models and provide accurate, timely reporting and forecasting of costs related to the SPTS Division. The role will act as a key business partner, bridging finance and the wider business.

Responsibilities

  • Support the SPTS division finance team in planning, forecasting and analysing fixed costs (headcount, T&E, project materials, depreciation, allocations, etc.).
  • Reconcile headcount actuals and forecasts, partnering with business managers and HR to manage leavers, terminations, transfers and new hires, ensuring alignment across OneStream, Workday and Anaplan.
  • Assist in managing the divisional budget, tracking spending and identifying key variances.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts and monthly & quarterly close, including expense reconciliation, accruals and analysis of actual results versus forecast.
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities in operating expenses.
  • Build and maintain standardised monthly and quarterly management reports.
  • Partner with engineering to drive cost optimisation of strategic projects.
  • Input all forecast and planning work into OneStream, maintaining data accuracy.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis, reviewing data from multiple perspectives to support business decisions.

Qualifications

  • Progressive experience managing operating expense in a high‑tech environment and a proven track record of business partnering for cost efficiency.
  • Strong financial rigour with the ability to validate data and apply analytical judgement.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting systems (SAP, OneStream, etc.) and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Self‑driven, results‑oriented, a fast learner who can work independently.
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment and able to manage multiple requests in a time‑sensitive manner.
  • Effective at reaching out to others and working with various levels and parts of an organization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Team‑player with a positive attitude and strong sense of ownership.
