Join us as a Customer Support Engineer at KLA, responsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing highly sophisticated capital equipment at customer sites.
Major Responsibilities
- Responsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing highly complex capital equipment at customer sites.
- Represents the company to the customer and assumes accountability for customer satisfaction with service.
- Assures operational quality of system equipment.
- Coordinates actions with customers to minimize downtime.
- May provide assistance to Installation Engineers in resolving problems.
Technical Skills
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot problems in software and electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems to address on-site customer problems.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer relations and teamwork skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- Fluent English (both written and spoken).
- Bachelor’s degree or technical high school diploma with relevant work experience.
- Experience in semiconductor, electromedical, or complex measurement systems is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 30% to support customers.
- Valid driving license to travel throughout Europe.
