Overview
In this role you will develop and maintain GUI and data-analysis software in a cross-functional setting, delivering well-scoped features on schedule. You will design software architecture and requirements across systems, implement multithreaded code, and ensure reliability through tests and profiling. You will collaborate globally with engineers and stakeholders, troubleshoot issues, and learn new technologies to advance product capabilities. This position offers the chance to shape software for complex measurement systems within a pioneering electronics manufacturing context.

Responsibilities
- Deliver well-defined features/components with high-level guidance and schedule adherence
- Collaborate across the development lifecycle to define architecture and system/subsystem requirements
- Develop C#/.NET and C++ software for GUI and data analysis with secure, maintainable code
- Build robust unit and integration tests and optimize performance, memory, reliability, and security
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate stakeholder feedback
- Troubleshoot system/subsystem issues using logs and experiments; contribute to root-cause analyses
- Demonstrate motivation to independently learn and apply new software technologies
Key requirements
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals (architecture, data structures, design patterns, event-driven and multithreaded design, testing, debugging)
- Experience with Microsoft .NET languages including VB.NET and C#
- C++ programming
- Microsoft Visual Studio development environment
- Git or similar source control systems
- Adherence to software design and coding standards
- Effective communication with peers, interdisciplinary teams, customers, and suppliers
