Overview
In this Senior MDE role, you will drive improvements to product and process design to enable manufacturing growth and new product introductions. You will collaborate across Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve technical challenges and implement changes that improve first-time quality. The position integrates cross-functional work in a state-of-the-art Newport facility, supporting advanced semiconductor technologies. You will shape manufacturing methods and lifecycle processes while contributing to the MDE’s technical capabilities and organizational growth.

Responsibilities
- Provide feedback on Design for Manufacture to Product Design and New Product Launch teams
- Maintain product specifications and BOMs using Solid Edge / SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD Electrical
- Manage specifications with Enovia PLM (training provided)
- Lead multiple cross-functional projects with Operations and Engineering
- Investigate and resolve technical challenges in manufacturing processes
- Provide technical guidance to Supply Chain and Outsourcing
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Generate, review, and approve Engineering Change Orders
- Understand budgets and support CAPEX requests
- Implement change following the Product Lifecycle (PLC) process
Key requirements
- Degree qualified in Engineering field with proven experience in an operational/engineering role (semiconductor industry desirable)
- Experience in project management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient with Solid Edge / SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD Electrical
