Our inspection, metrology, and analytics systems detect and monitor defects across logic and memory chips, specialty semiconductors, wafers, reticles, advanced packaging, process equipment and materials. We also develop technologies for specialty processes, IC substrates, and PCB manufacturing, including etch and deposition, component inspection, and imaging and analytics. The SPTS division provides advanced wafer processing solutions—including etch, deposition and vapor-based technologies—designed for R&D through high-volume production. It also offers comprehensive service and spare parts through a worldwide network of service centers and qualified local agents.Part of the SPTS Engineering division, the Platform Hardware Group is a multi-disciplined team, providing automation solutions to enable the integration of SPTS process systems into customer semiconductor fabrication factories worldwide. A Platform Mechanical Design Engineer designs and supports core structural, mechanical and thermal systems.As the successful candidate, you will be an experienced Mechanical Engineer with good understanding of designing components to operate in challenging environments in a highly competitive industry. You would be supporting major cross department projects and so previous exposure to other fields of engineering, preferable electrical would be desirable.You would be working with other engineers in the group with equipment design/integration and expect to work to tight deadlines in a highly regulated industry.
