b Overview /b p In this role you ensure high-quality performance of SPTS single-wafer products through hands-on testing, integration, and fault resolution. You work with a cross-functional team in a modern Newport facility to meet customer specifications and timelines. You will identify defects in real time and contribute to process improvements. This position offers growth in a fast-growing, award-winning company shaping semiconductor technologies. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li annual leave starting at 25 days /li li pension scheme /li li cash health plan /li li cycle to work scheme /li li global bonus plan /li li share scheme /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Install modular semiconductor equipment or fully integrated systems /li li Test live equipment to set specifications across electrical and pneumatic systems /li li Perform electrical and mechanical fault finding down to component level /li li Conduct cosmetic and functional quality control /li li Suggest improvements to procedures and methods /li li Collaborate with team to resolve complex issues /li li Drive product throughput to meet deadlines and customer requirements /li li Record test data in the Shop Floor Online software suite /li li Support Product Groups in developing new products (occasionally) /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Experience as a Test Engineer or similar role with familiarity of electromechanical products /li li Ability to meet timescales and deadlines /li li Strong analytical and fault-finding skills; able to use electrical/mechanical schematics /li li Ability to work independently and take initiative /li li Excellent communication and relationship-building within teams /li li Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities /li li Computer literate /li li Able to work to the shift pattern (Mon–Fri, 6am–2pm Week 1; 2pm–10pm Week 2) with shift premium /li /ul ul li clear communication /li li analytical thinking /li li team collaboration /li li electro-mechanical systems /li li fault finding /li li using electrical and mechanical schematics /li /ul
