You will lead hardware and process solutions, advancing plasma etch, deposition, and integration for diverse applications. You will engage with customers and partners to ensure technology readiness and impact. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Annual leave 25 days /li li Contributory pension scheme /li li Cash health plan /li li Cycle to work scheme /li li Global bonus plan /li li Share scheme /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead development of breakthrough plasma etch and deposition technologies for applications including Advanced Packaging, Photonics, Compound Semiconductor, Quantum, MEMS, and Specialty Semiconductor /li li Solve complex process and hardware problems using first-principles, simulation, experimental design, and data-driven analysis /li li Drive invention activities and contribute to patent generation and IP strategy /li li Lead investigation and resolution of process integration, plasma physics, equipment, and hardware performance challenges /li li Mentor and guide junior engineers; lead technical reviews and influence development priorities /li li Collaborate with engineering teams to influence chamber design, RF systems, gas delivery, thermal management, endpoint control, and process diagnostics /li li Interpret and apply modelling tools (e.g., COMSOL) to predict plasma behaviour and hardware impact /li li Collaborate with customers, research institutes, universities, and partners to align future technology requirements /li li Generate technical reports, publications, invention disclosures, and executive summaries /li li Travel to meet customers, attend conferences, and participate in collaborative work /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Significant industrial or research experience in plasma processing, semiconductor equipment development, or advanced manufacturing /li li Strong understanding of plasma etch and/or deposition technologies /li li Knowledge of RF power delivery systems, plasma sources, thermal management, vacuum systems, endpoint detection, and semiconductor equipment architecture /li li PhD in Physics, Plasma Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Semiconductor Technology, Electronic Engineering, or related field /li li Proven track record in leading technical investigations and delivering significant results /li /ul ul li Leadership and mentoring /li li Cross-functional collaboration /li li Effective communication to technical and non-technical audiences /li li Plasma etch and deposition technologies /li li RF power delivery and plasma sources /li li Thermal management and vacuum systems /li /ul
