Overview

In this role you will develop plasma etch processes and demonstrate them on demonstration equipment to meet customer requirements. You will work across multiple process modules, documenting results and contributing to hardware testing and development. You’ll support customers with technical guidance, write reports, and help generate IP submissions, while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position involves travel and some shift work, within a global, innovation-driven company.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate plasma etch processes to spec and evaluate results with analytical tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve process issues; provide regular progress updates to Product Marketing
  • Build relationships with customers and communicate results through reports and presentations
  • Develop plasma etch processes aligned to product capabilities and customer needs
  • Plan work safely and efficiently, meeting timelines; use endpoint detection techniques to optimize control
  • Conduct marathon and reliability testing for new processes and equipment
  • Contribute to cross-functional teams developing new products and process technologies
  • Prepare technical documentation to support patents, publications, and conferences
  • Provide field support at customer sites and maintain strong customer relations

Key requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with SEM experience
  • Knowledge of endpoint detection techniques; hands-on experience desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work across teams
