Overview
As an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer at KLA, you will validate and integrate semiconductor manufacturing equipment to meet stringent quality and performance standards. You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team to diagnose faults, perform electrical and mechanical testing, and drive improvements across the manufacturing process. This role offers hands-on problem solving on highly sophisticated capital equipment and opportunities to contribute to product development and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
- Assemble, integrate and test semiconductor manufacturing modules and systems
- Perform electrical commissioning and verification on live equipment
- Test against engineering specs and procedures
- Diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and fluid power faults
- Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Carry out cosmetic and functional quality inspections
- Record test results using electronic systems
- Support root cause investigations and corrective actions
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement to improve quality, efficiency and throughput
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and product development teams
- Support new product introduction and product development activities
Key requirements
- Experience in electrical manufacturing, test, commissioning, maintenance or systems integration
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills to component level
- Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of three-phase and single-phase electrical systems
- Hands-on, practical problem-solving approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering or technical environments
- Good IT skills and confidence with digital systems
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
