At KLA we design, develop, and manufacture high-tech capital equipment for the global semiconductor industry. In this role youll be working in our high performing manufacturing team to build and assemble our complex processing equipment. Based at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Newport, South Wales this role presents the opportunity to work with innovative technology and learn precision automated manufacturing processes! Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Visual inspection using a microscope (20x magnification) for dies, resistors, capacitors to ensure parts meet specifications. Manual soldering small electronic components (using a microscope) onto Printed Circuit Board or flex circuit (resistors, capacitors, dies). Handle or attach small components (die, capacitors, resistors) using tweezers and in house build fixture. Attach small components onto wafer or flex circuit. Performing visual inspection IQC (incoming quality inspection)/OQC (outgoing quality inspection) on raw parts (flex, PCBA, silicon substrate). Operating fixturing/tooling or hand-held electronic equipment (Voltmeter, Caliper, Oscilloscope) to test cable assembly or electronic assembly boxes. Handling dilute chemical solutions (IPA, DI wat…
