Company Overview: The SPTS division of KLA designs, manufactures and markets wafer processing solutions for the global semiconductor and related industries. SPTS provides industry‑leading etch and deposition process technologies on a range of single wafer handling platforms. Job Overview: Location: Celtic Lakes, Newport. This role is based in the 237,000‑square‑foot Newport facility, which includes 25,000sqft of R&D clean rooms, 35,000sqft of state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing space and tool demo areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate key expedite capability.
  • Lead time reduction initiatives with Purchasing / Spares Organisations.
  • Undertake problem solving and trouble‑shooting.
  • Cost reduction and inventory reduction initiatives.
  • Develop & evaluate new suppliers.
  • Develop good relationships with current suppliers.
  • Summarise results in a written report or presentation formats.
  • MRP / SAP understanding.
  • Global supply chain and logistics initiatives.
  • Develop and understand key SPTS purchasing processes.
  • Generating SAP reports and creating controlled measures.
  • Understanding and creating data to support KPIs.
  • Measuring market conditions and identifying key global constraints.
  • Interfacing with SPARES to support tool‑down scenario and for regional forecasts.
  • Developing reports to support OTIF to SPARES >90%.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in a Supply Chain or Logistics Management category.
  • CIPS Accredited.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good IT skills (minimum Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
