Job Overview: Location: Celtic Lakes, Newport. This role is based in the 237,000‑square‑foot Newport facility, which includes 25,000sqft of R&D clean rooms, 35,000sqft of state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing space and tool demo areas.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate key expedite capability.
- Lead time reduction initiatives with Purchasing / Spares Organisations.
- Undertake problem solving and trouble‑shooting.
- Cost reduction and inventory reduction initiatives.
- Develop & evaluate new suppliers.
- Develop good relationships with current suppliers.
- Summarise results in a written report or presentation formats.
- MRP / SAP understanding.
- Global supply chain and logistics initiatives.
- Develop and understand key SPTS purchasing processes.
- Generating SAP reports and creating controlled measures.
- Understanding and creating data to support KPIs.
- Measuring market conditions and identifying key global constraints.
- Interfacing with SPARES to support tool‑down scenario and for regional forecasts.

Qualifications:
- Degree in a Supply Chain or Logistics Management category.
- CIPS Accredited.
- Good communication skills.
- Good IT skills (minimum Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
