The SPTS division of KLA designs, manufactures and markets wafer processing solutions for the global semiconductor and related industries. SPTS provides industry leading etch and deposition process technologies on a range of single wafer handling platforms. The KLA Global Workplace Services (GWS) team is passionate about enabling the business goals and company culture through the delivery of workplace environments and services that foster teamwork, innovation and productivity. Our team runs a worldwide portfolio of over 3 million square feet, 135 sites and over 12,000 employees. In addition to ensuring the workspace and manufacturing facilities operate seamlessly, this group also provides employee and site services, such as cafeteria, transportation, security, and safety. The team is responsible for all construction and site improvement work to enable the business needs as well as align with the financial requirements.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

As a Global Project Engineer, you will lead capital infrastructure projects across KLA’s European sites while supporting global engineering and operational standards. This role is part of GEOS (Global Engineering and Operational Standards), a newly formed distributed team passionate about delivering consistent, scalable, and balanced engineering solutions across our facilities.

You will apply your engineering expertise to run full project lifecycles—from scope development through design coordination, implementation, and commissioning—while partnering across teams and geographies. In addition to project execution, you will help define standards, support assessments, and craft KLA’s long-term infrastructure strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the execution of capital infrastructure projects across KLA’s European portfolio, with a focus on technical excellence, cost control, and schedule performance.
  • Collaborate with facilities teams, external partners, and internal customers to align on project needs and ensure readiness for execution.
  • Review and validate designs, handle engineering documentation, and support procurement and construction coordination.
  • Serve as the primary GEOS engineering point of contact for European capital projects, ensuring consistency with global standard methodologies.
  • Participate in the development of global engineering standards and infrastructure guidelines.
  • Support facility condition assessments and engineering risk reviews across regions.
  • Give technical insights to multi-functional initiatives, including digital twins, energy metering, and document management systems.
  • Help drive alignment between regional project delivery and enterprise-wide goals around sustainability, safety, and operational performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on global or multi-site capital programs.
  • Familiarity with BIM tools such as Revit or AutoCAD.
  • Understanding of European construction regulations and engineering standards.
  • Curiosity about ESG-related infrastructure work.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, civil, or related engineering field.
  • Shown experience in engineering project execution, including facilities or infrastructure construction.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities across teams and locations.
  • Familiarity with building systems and technical environments (e.g., cleanrooms, labs, data centers).
  • Experience collaborating with multi-functional teams, vendors, and construction partners.
  • Comfortable with European travel (approx 20%).
