KL Talent Solutions Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-established site investigation and geoenvironmental contractor. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with construction or site investigation experience who is looking to progress into full project management within a technically driven environment.
The Role
Based from the client's office, you will be mentored in the preparation, coordination, and management of site investigation projects across the UK, from contract award through to financial close. You will gain exposure to all technical, commercial, health & safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) aspects of project delivery, with structured support from senior project managers and engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the coordination and delivery of site investigation projects nationwide
- Supporting project planning, programming, and milestone management
- Managing project costs and monitoring expenditure to maximise profitability
- Coordinating staff, subcontractors, and equipment allocation
- Preparing factual and technical reports in line with project deadlines
- Assisting with invoicing, valuations, and payment follow-ups
- Supporting health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance on projects
- Attending site walkovers, pre-start meetings, and audits as required
- Maintaining clear communication with clients, internal teams, and management
About You
- Minimum 2 years relevant construction experience (site investigation experience preferred)
- BSc in a relevant discipline (MSc advantageous)
- SSSTS qualification (essential)
- CSCS Management qualification (essential)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Commercially aware with a proactive and professional approach
- Keen to develop into a full Project Manager role
Desirable
- Chartered status or working towards chartership
- Risk assessment appreciation training
- Previous exposure to managing or coordinating site teams
