As part of our continued growth, we are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts / Site Manager to oversee projects from award through to final account. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable managing site operations as they are handling contractual and commercial responsibilities.

The successful candidate will take ownership of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Role Overview

You will act as the key point of contact for your projects, coordinating day-to-day site activities while maintaining overall control of programme, cost, quality, and client communication. The role will involve regular time spent on site, alongside planning, reporting, and commercial management responsibilities. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who understands both practical site delivery and the commercial side of contracts management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing roofing and cladding contracts from pre-start meeting through to completion and handover

  • Planning works, sequencing activities, and coordinating labour and subcontractors
  • Procuring and organising materials, plant, and specialist subcontract packages
  • Monitoring progress on site and resolving technical or logistical issues
  • Leading site meetings and maintaining strong communication with clients and main contractors
  • Managing health & safety compliance, including RAMS, toolbox talks, and site audits
  • Ensuring quality control and compliance with project specifications
  • Identifying, pricing, and managing variations and change events
  • Monitoring project costs and supporting applications for payment and final accounts
  • Producing progress and commercial reports for directors
  • Supporting the continued growth of the business through strong client relationships
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience managing roofing and cladding projects within industrial or commercial sectors
  • Experience with composite panels, built-up systems, single ply, and rainscreen systems
  • Experience overseeing both site operations and contract performance
  • SMSTS (essential)
  • CSCS Black Card preferred
  • First Aid (desirable)
  • Good knowledge of health & safety legislation
  • Commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
What We Offer
