Team Overview
KKR’s Public Policy & Affairs (PPA) function is responsible for shaping and executing the firm’s global public policy, regulatory, and external engagement strategy. The team includes the KKR Global Institute, which focuses on geopolitical risk, alongside regional policy teams across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia‑Pacific.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess legislative, regulatory, and geopolitical developments across EMEA
- Provide actionable insights to investment teams and leadership on policy‑related risks and opportunities
- Maintain a forward‑looking view on trends impacting private capital
- Identify and mitigate risks to KKR’s operating environment
- Support initiatives that enhance the firm’s reputation as a provider of “trusted capital”
- Engage proactively with key stakeholders to shape policy outcomes
- Develop and execute engagement strategies across priority EMEA markets
- Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, regulators, and industry groups
