Role: Snowflake Platform Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end platform delivery, operations, governance, and service management.
  • Define and execute platform strategy, roadmap, and modernization initiatives.
  • Drive platform scalability, resilience, automation, and operational maturity.
  • Establish engineering best practices, governance controls, and operating procedures.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for critical production incidents and service disruptions.
  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of platform initiatives across multiple technology tracks.
  • Drive Agile ways of working using Scrum, Kanban, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, operational metrics, and customer commitments.
  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and technical blockers. Drive compliance, security, audit readiness, and cost optimization.
  • Implement effective monitoring, observability, and service management processes.
  • Hands on experience
  • Mentor and guide Snowflake, Kafka, Cloud, Dev Ops, and Platform engineers.
  • Provide architectural oversight and technical governance across the platform landscape.
  • Drive platform architecture related discussion with Leads, Platform architect & Client
  • Contribute to solution designs, operational processes, and technical implementation approaches.
