Roles and Responsibilities:
- Enterprise PLM Solution Architecture — Design, Integration, and Delivery Enablement
- As a Principal – PLM Solution Architect, you will serve as the technical and architectural authority for large, complex PLM initiatives, with a strong preference for Teamcenter.
- You are accountable for defining end-to-end PLM solution architecture, ensuring alignment across business requirements, system design, integrations, data models, and non-functional requirements.
- Success in this position is defined by your ability to translate business and engineering needs into scalable PLM architectures, guide delivery teams, and ensure solutions are robust, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
- Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture & Design
- Define end-to-end PLM solution architecture for enterprise implementations, with Teamcenter as the primary platform.
- Translate business, engineering, and IT requirements into logical and physical solution designs.
- Own architecture artifacts including system landscapes, integration patterns, data models, and deployment views.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security, and non-functional requirements.
- Provide architectural governance and design assurance throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Technical Leadership & Delivery Support
- Act as the technical authority for PLM solution decisions across design and implementation phases.
- Guide and mentor solution designers, technical leads, and development teams.
- Support configuration, customization, and extension design while balancing standard platform capabilities.
- Troubleshoot complex architectural and integration issues and drive resolution.
- Integration & Data Architecture
- Design and govern integrations between Teamcenter and adjacent enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, MES, ALM, CAD, data platforms).
- Define PLM data models, data migration strategies, and master data alignment.
- Ensure data integrity, performance, scalability, and lifecycle traceability across systems.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration
- Collaborate with business, engineering, and IT stakeholders to validate architectural decisions.
- Work closely with Siemens and other technology vendors to align on product capabilities and roadmaps.
- Support sales and pursuit teams by contributing to solution architectures, estimates, and technical responses.
- Solution Architecture & Design
Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in PLM solution architecture and implementation, with deep expertise in Teamcenter.
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale PLM solutions in complex environments.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, configuration, customization, and deployment models.
- Experience integrating PLM with ERP, MES, ALM, CAD, and other enterprise systems.
- Solid understanding of data models, lifecycle management, and engineering processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
