Position Overview
Role: Finance Program Manager
Area of Work: IT Commercials, ERP Projects
Work Type: Hybrid (5% Travel)

The Financial and Commercial Manager will play a pivotal role within a large, established IT programme, ensuring that all financial and commercial operations are executed to the highest standards of accuracy, transparency, and effectiveness. This position is accountable for overseeing cost-plus project level accounting, managing complex budgets, supporting the commercial strategy, and ensuring robust compliance and reporting across all financial activities associated with the programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Client facing role, managing all contractual commercial deliverables and facing off to the client on all commercial, pricing issues. Expected travel, 2 days per month.
- Responsible for managing all client stakeholders (finance and procurement) on commercials. There is a weekly finance connect, and monthly management report meeting and Commercial Boards to be attended and commercial issues to be presented, explained and addressed.
- Attend and contribute towards Project Board for each Component and submit financials (at any point in time there are 3 commercial board meetings in a month).
- Responsible for the Oracle commercial relationship and Oracle pricing, ensure Oracle pricing is in line with Schedule 15 and Oracle flow down. This activity is complex as Oracle contract has several pricing mechanisms, example β shelving mechanism, discount slab monitoring, EBS credit monitoring and control, user volume reconciliation monthly and more.
- CCNs β responsible for calculating the financial impact of CCNs in line with Sch 15 and following the agreement with client. These are the most important commercial schedules, the candidate must become an expert on these schedules.
- Lead the Open Book Audit process, work with the client auditor and internal stakeholders and Finance team to bring the process to a conclusion.
- Finance Business Partner. Work with the PMO and Delivery Teams to ensure support is provided to them to deliver the commercial objectives of the contract.
- Work closely with the PMO teams to understand the status of milestones and deliverable and lead the sign-off process related to milestone billing.
