Knowledge of gas turbine components or an understanding of material, thermal, mechanical, and dynamic issues associated with the core turbomachinery components / modules (such as Compressor, combustion, Rotative discs, casings, structures, Turbine Statics, shafts etc.) may be advantageous.
Prior Experience of working in the gas Turbine Product, Aviation industry or within the APQP/PPAP framework (Aerospace Standard AS9145) may be advantageous.
Deliver Geometrical definitions for engineered product- This may need you to create 3D models, Digital Assemblies, General Arrangements drawings, sections, Models for stress analysis, etc.
Deliver the manufacturing Instructions whilst complying to the customer operating procedures and best practices.
This may be done via traditional drawings or Model Based Definitions Interact with Designers, Manufacturing to deliver the FM objectives including producibility.
Achieve Right First Time and On Time Delivery targets for planned deliverables by establishing strong review mechanisms, tracking KPIs, driving corrective actions and promoting continual knowledge management, process compliance and engineering excellence.
