Welcome to KK Catering, one of the UK’s leading wedding, event and party mobile caterers, serving guests at venues, fields and festival-style celebrations across the country. This is a job like no other: you’ll travel up and down the UK in our branded vans, from top hotel wedding venues serving pie and mash, to midnight burgers and doner kebabs in a marquee in the middle of a field; no two days are ever the same. At KK we believe work should be fast-paced and exciting, but with proper time off to relax - fun, yet always professional. We’re looking for a reliable, friendly team member who loves working with people and wants to help us create unforgettable weddings and events.
The role:
- Drive company vehicles from our Stockport depot to weddings and events across the UK.
- Safely set up our mobile kitchens on-site (training provided).
- (Optional additional hours) Prepare and cook food, then serve guests from the van at weddings, parties and corporate events once fully trained.
- Represent KK Catering on-site with smart appearance, great customer service and a positive attitude.
- Work flexible, often unsociable hours (evenings/weekends) and stay overnight in hotels between events when required (twin rooms shared with same-gender team member, usually Premier Inn).
What we’re looking for:
- Super friendly, reliable team player who enjoys talking to customers.
- Smart and professional, comfortable working at weddings and private parties.
- Happy to work evenings, weekends and some late finishes.
- Comfortable driving long distances and parking larger vehicles.
- Full UK driving licence held for more than 2 years (required).
Pay & benefits:
- Job type: Full-time, permanent.
- Company pension.
- Employee discount.
- Free on-site parking.
- Sick pay.
- Annual bonus schemes.
- Monthly competitions with prizes.
- Full training programme with regular pay reviews.
Important information:
- You must have your own vehicle to get to our Stockport depot for shifts.
- Due to some locations we cater at, the role can involve regulated activity with children and access to Ministry of Defence sites. You should not apply if you are on the Children’s Barred List or have any unspent criminal convictions.
- You must be comfortable for us to conduct background checks before a job offer.
If this sounds like you and you want a hospitality role that gets you out on the road, meeting people and making events memorable, we’d love to hear from you.
