For over 60 years, KJ West One has been the destination for serious audio enthusiasts. From our luxury showroom in the heart of the West End, we help clients find equipment that genuinely changes the way they listen to music. We're now looking for a Store Manager who can lead that experience from the front. This isn't a typical retail management role. Our clients are knowledgeable and passionate — and so is our team. You'll be leading a showroom where conversations about turntables, amplifiers and acoustics are part of the daily fabric, and where the right advice can turn a first-time visitor into a lifelong customer.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading the day-to-day running of the store - operations, sales performance, inventory, and visual standards — while setting the tone for how customers are welcomed and served.
- Managing and developing a small, specialist team, coaching them on both product knowledge and the art of consultative selling, and ensuring that every client interaction reflects the quality of the equipment we sell.
What we're looking for:
- At least 3 years of retail management experience, ideally in a high-end or specialist environment.
- A genuine passion for hi-fi and audio.
- Understanding the difference between selling a product and guiding someone toward the right one.
- Being organised, commercially minded, and knowing how to bring out the best in a team.
- A background in the audio industry or a deep personal interest in high-end sound is essential.
