We are hugely excited to be partnering with one of the world’s leading probiotics supplements brands, with products distributed in over 100 countries, as it launches its first ever skincare range. We are recruiting for a Senior eCommerce Manager, a newly created role, to shape the future digital strategy of our client’s new skincare brand and drive the profitable growth of its ecommerce presence within selected global markets. The Senior eCommerce Manager will report directly to the London-based CEO of this globally recognised, pioneering, and award-winning wellness brand. This is a rare entrepreneurial opportunity to make a direct contribution to the company’s success as it rapidly scales up.

As Senior eCommerce Manager you will be flying solo without a team and very much hands-on in making things happen in this wide and varied role. You will assume overall ownership of everything from strategic planning through to operational execution, with accountability for P&L and budgets. You will be solely responsible for the day-to-day execution of the trading and marketing calendar, ensuring successful on-brand activity and the sustainable delivery of profitable commercial performance for our client’s skincare brand.

If you are looking for a truly entrepreneurial, fast-growth, start-up adventure, with the scope to make a real difference in a brand-new role, and you are a talented ecommerce specialist with a dynamic, hands-on approach, then you could be the perfect fit for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume full commercial and operational responsibility for DTC web shops and websites in selected markets, including UK, France, Italy, and Spain.
  • Assist local markets with their DTC web shops in US, Australia and Japan.
  • Partner with the markets on their Amazon presence and also lead the Amazon presence for the skincare brand in some markets.
  • Act as "Global Product Owner" for the ecommerce platform (Shopify) for the skincare brand and other technology and tools in partnership with the Ecommerce Manager for probiotics.
  • Specifically develop and drive the international trading calendar and ensure that site activity in the territories is activated and adapted appropriately for each market.
  • Oversee performance marketing efforts (paid search, social, affiliate, etc.) to increase brand visibility and drive profitable user acquisition.
  • Trial and test new digital sales channels (marketplaces, social commerce, etc.) to expand the brand’s digital visibility.
  • Evaluate commercial channel performance and produce daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, identifying insights and trends and areas for optimisation.
  • Oversee day-to-day ecommerce operations to ensure the effective functioning of the web shop.
  • Grow global footprint by contributing to the long-term digital strategy, anticipating digital business opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
Personal Attributes:
  • 5+ years of hands-on direct-to-consumer (DTC) ecommerce experience with a challenger skincare, beauty, retail, or consumer goods business, preferably a smaller organisation, where you’ve had the chance to fully understand what it takes to drive a successful international ecommerce business.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in the Amazon ecosystem.
  • 1+ years of experience of working in the Shopify ecosystem.
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing channels (paid search, social ads, and affiliate) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics and BI tools).
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling ecommerce initiatives through data-driven experimentation on Amazon.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in interpreting data to inform action; comfortable with reporting on KPIs.
  • Experience as a project leader for several complex projects that have included both external and internal resources.
  • A can-do attitude and a positive, growth mindset.

What’s on offer... You will be rewarded with a very competitive salary package + bonus scheme, health insurance reimbursement, health & wellbeing initiatives, celebrations, learning & development, and an amazing career opportunity within a fabulous culture in a global leading organisation.
