General Manager, Europe

Hybrid working 3/2 – London

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a General Manager (GM) for Europe to join our incredible client Huda Beauty. The General Manager will be responsible for providing overall vision and strategic leadership to drive awareness and sales in the region with full P&L ownership.

The GM will:

  • Create a strategic vision for growth that aligns both the commercial and creative agendas and clearly and persuasively articulate this vision across both internal and external stakeholder groups
  • Maximise the omni-channel model to achieve new customer acquisition, market share growth, and brand elevation by defining, negotiating, and executing disruptive joint business plans
  • Ensure sustainable OPEX, growing sell-in, and profitability for the market, by leading on and managing every aspect of the P&L in UK and Europe
  • Secure and develop high-calibre talent by building a winning culture where the best people want to work and succeed together
  • Lead by example in inspiring operational excellence and in enhancing customer experience by instilling an entrepreneurial culture of ownership
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across external vendors and retailers, as well as with internal global teams

Essential Requirements for this role:

  • An entrepreneurial and high-performing executive, ideally already fulfilling a GM role, with a minimum of 15 years’ experience within high-growth, digital-first, prestige beauty or consumer goods brands
  • Experience of working collaboratively with founders to establish vision and define multi-year growth strategy
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the UK/EU market, established relationships with top retailers (Sephora, Boots, department stores, and pure players), and the ability to quickly build relationships with new partners
  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with an in-depth understanding of financial levers and experience of building revenue and of owning P&L
  • Proven success in building, leading, and developing a senior level team to deliver on shared goals
  • A record of delivering superior commercial results within a fast-paced business environment across both brick and mortar and digital B2B channels
