We are looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Receptionist and Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is an entry-level position with a varied and flexible workload. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing changing priorities, supporting colleagues and completing a range of reception and general administrative duties as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Offering refreshments and ensuring meeting rooms are prepared
- Answering and managing emails
- Booking jobs between subcontractors & client sites
- Contacting sites to arrange and confirm appointments
- Maintaining accurate booking records and schedules
- Arranging events, travel, meetings and reservations for company executives
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team
- Carrying out additional office and administrative tasks as required
Skills and Experience
- Friendly, personable and confident when dealing with clients and visitors
- Highly organised, with good attention to detail
- Comfortable speaking to subcontractors, clients and site representatives by telephone and email
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to use email and office systems
- Able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Reliable, professional and willing to learn
- Able to use initiative while also following instructions
- Previous reception or administrative experience would be helpful but is not essential
This role would suit someone who enjoys helping others, works well in a busy office environment and is happy to take on a broad range of responsibilities. Full training will be provided where required.
