Registered Manager

Residential Children\’s Home (EBD)

Location: CV7 (well linked to the M6)

Service: 4-bed home (2 YP in placement; plan to 3-4)

Salary: up to £60,000

Ofsted: Good (registered 3 years)

You\’ll have real autonomy, visible support from a highly experienced RI, a full team in place and the headroom to grow placements safely. This isn\’t a turnaround; it\’s about steady excellence, inspection-readiness every day, and a culture that holds.

What you\’ll lead

  • Hold Ofsted registration; run day-to-day operations smoothly
  • Recruit, coach and retain a high-performing team (clear supervision & CPD)
  • Embed trauma-informed, relational practice and predictable routines
  • Own safeguarding, care planning, risk, audits & QA; use SCCIF to drive improvement
  • Manage matching & admissions to protect stability and outcomes
  • Work closely with families, schools, social workers and local partners
  • Use data, reflective practice and learning loops to keep standards high

What you\’ll bring

  • Recent Registered Manager experience (children\’s residential)
  • Level 5 in Leadership & Management (Residential Childcare) or close to completion
  • Confident with Children\’s Homes Regs, Quality Standards & SCCIF
  • Solid inspection experience; calm, professionally curious leadership style
  • Strong recording, analysis and judgement; Full UK manual driving licence
