About the role:
- Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning etc.
- Preparing and loading raw materials and parts into the machines
- Inspecting and measuring finished products and comparing them with technical and quality requirements
- De-burring and cleaning of finished parts as necessary
- Emptying swarf trays as appropriate
- Ensuring that every machine procedure is undertaken in accordance with the company guidelines
- Ensuring all machines operated throughout the day together with surrounding work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times
- Strictly adhering to all health and safety procedures
- Demonstrating a strong team approach ensuring clear communication with colleagues at all levels
- Adhering to SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)
About you:
- Must be a team player and have the ability to work well with others
- Must have a safety conscious mindset
- Previous experience in CNC Machining is desired but not necessary
- Passion for manufacturing
- Willingness to take on additional training as required by the business
