About the Role – Children’s Sports Coach

We are looking for a Children’s Sports Coach to deliver engaging, high-quality football sessions across Chelmsford and surrounding areas. As a Children’s Sports Coach, you will lead fun, structured sessions that help children develop football skills, confidence and social interaction in a safe and enjoyable setting. Sessions will take place at multiple venues across Chelmsford and surrounding areas, therefore the ability to travel locally is essential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging football sessions for children aged 2–8 years
  • Create a fun, inclusive and safe learning environment
  • Teach fundamental football skills through structured activities
  • Monitor and support the development of each child
  • Provide feedback to parents and guardians when appropriate
  • Organise and lead games, activities and session plans
  • Ensure equipment and facilities are safe and well maintained
  • Deliver excellent customer experience at every session

Requirements – Children’s Sports Coach

We are looking for a Children’s Sports Coach who is enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about working with children.

Essential requirements:

  • Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday, 09:00–11:00)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, energetic and professional attitude

Desirable:

  • Experience working with children (coaching, teaching or similar)
  • Football coaching experience or qualifications

Additional requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS check (required)
  • Willingness to complete safeguarding and first aid training (provided)
