Are you an experienced/qualified Electrician looking for a change of career? Or, are you a qualified lecturer/Assessor of Electrician with previous Lecturing or Assessing experience?

If so, we are working with a fantastic College in Essex who are on the lookout for a Trainer/Assessor in Electrician. The college are happy to accept from industry and will provide fully funded training and teaching/assessing qualifications.

Location: Chelmsford

Pay and working hours:

  • Salary: up to £40,267
  • Working hours: 37 hours per week

Role details: Full time role. The primary responsibility for the role is to deliver across levels 1, 2 and 3 in Electrical installations for full time students. There may also be expectations to teach on the apprenticeship programmes.

Essential requirements:

  • Level 3 Electrical Installation and NVQ Level 3 qualifications.
  • Minimum of two years' industry experience.

Desirable:

  • BS 7671 (18th Edition)
  • C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing

Here are some of their benefits:

  • 50 days for academic staff and 33 days for business support which increases to 38 days after 5 years of service.
  • Flexible working arrangements and allow working from home for business support.
  • Academic staff are also entitled to 20 days per year.
  • Pension schemes with LGPS and with the Teachers’ Pension Scheme (contribution rate of 21.1% and 23.6% respectively).
