Job Summary Kiwa Electrical Compliance (KEC) is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their sales team. This role is responsible for driving sales growth across EMC, Radio, Safety, and Global Market Access services, delivering tailored compliance solutions to clients, and supporting the strategic development of Kiwa’s UK electrical testing services. We want you to trust us in becoming your employer of choice. About the role Act as a technical expert in EMC, Radio, and Safety certification, providing tailored compliance solutions to clients. Develop and implement strategic sales plans in collaboration with the Sales Manager and Business Unit Director. Manage the full sales cycle — from lead generation through CRM, to quotation, order, and post-sale support. Prepare technically accurate and commercially effective proposals, including test plans and certification advice. Lead client relationships from initial engagement to project handover, ensuring a smooth and professional experience. Identify and grow key accounts while seeking new business opportunities across Kiwa UK and globally. Collaborate on marketing initiatives including webinars, newsletters, website content, and industry events. Champion a safe, inclusive, and high-performing team culture, supporting recruitment, appraisals, and development. Do you have what it takes? Degree (or equivalent) in a technical/scientific field, or experience in Testing, Inspection, or Certification (TIC). Proven B2B sales, management, and leadership experience. Experience managing expectations of customers, teams, and stakeholders. Strong knowledge of EMC, Radio, Safety, and compliance services. Understanding of UKAS, ISO 17025, testing standards, and QMS. Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with strong negotiation and execution skills. Dynamic, adaptable, and results-focused team player. Proficient in Microsoft Office, D365, Outlook, and Teams. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.
