We are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Accountant to join our UK accounts payable team, to ensure compliance with all accounts payable activities, including accurate posting, VAT compliance, and sound working capital management. This role will be located in Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham with hybrid working.

About the role:

  • Processing purchase invoices in accordance with the appropriate approvals
  • Support Purchase Order and Purchase Invoice enquiries to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Process payment card and expenses transaction into the ledgers
  • Support with regular supplier payment runs
  • Perform supplier statement reconciliations
  • Support the management of the AP Mailbox and investigate/resolve supplier queries
  • Manage changes to the Supplier Master
  • Prepare and/or post journals such as accruals and prepayments
  • Support the completion of ONS returns for the UK Group
  • Support the delivery of internal and external audit documentation (such as invoice copies, proof of supplier payment etc.)
  • Support the wider Finance team and any future Finance system testing

  • £26,000 - £28,000 per annum
